Why Southern Sudan?

Southern Sudan is an expansive and nearly pristine environment. It has an abundance of natural resources, an underserved consumer market, and a rapidly expanding population and development standard.

Emerging from decades of civil war, Southern Sudan is at the cusp of entering the club of Emerging Markets. With a focused and dynamic leadership, the Government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) is rising to meet the challenges of every nascent territory; corruption is not allowed, and rule of law and the safeguarding of private property is being furthered. Tremendous strides have been taken by the GOSS since they were formed in late 2005, and the momentum continues daily.

Southern Sudan is so much more than its remarkable history and rich cultural diversity. Southern Sudan shares a common past with the East African community, but is linked to the Arab, Central and West African worlds. While some may disagree on how these relationships have effected Southern Sudan, one thing is for certain: Southern Sudan’s future will be a source of prosperity, abundance, stability and hope.

Southern Sudan is a beautiful story to tell; overcoming adversity, realizing the strength and determination of humanity, and a dream once deferred now being realized.
